HCG Diet Recipes
Being on a diet does not necessarily mean enduring bland and boring food choices. You can spice up your limited ingredients through culinary mix and match. What’s even better, you can have variety with your meals throughout the day without going over 500 calories.
Can I have smoothie for breakfast?
Certainly. Here’s a “pick me up”. This beats plain tea or coffee for 20 days non-stop. Just be sure that you don’t overdo milk, as you are only allowed one tablespoon every 24 hours.
You need 1 small banana, 1 small cup non-fat milk, ½ serving hot cocoa, 2 grams instant coffee powder and 5 whole almonds.
To prepare, cut banana into small pieces. Put all the ingredients into the blender and blend until smooth. This serving is good for one person. Calorie count is 210.
What do you get out of cabbage and chili?
Cabbage chili! Unseasoned vegetables (like steamed asparagus tips) lose their appeal when you have them for breakfast, lunch and dinner. For a tastier twist, why not spice up some plain veggies?
Here’s how: You need 100 grams lean ground beef or chicken breast; 100 grams cabbage; 100 grams ripe tomato; 2 cups water; 1 tablespoon ground cumin, chili powder, ground thyme, oregano, 2 cloves garlic, salt and pepper. Use spices according to taste.
To prepare: Cook meat and mince garlic. Add 2 cups water and spices according to taste. Add cabbage when water comes to a boil. Then, add tomatoes. Cover for a couple of minutes, then serve. This is less than 300 calories, and good for one serving.
Is there any other way to enjoy chicken?
Here’s a real treat. You need 1 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breast, 2 tablespoon real bacon bits, and 2 ounces cheddar cheese.
To prepare: Heat skillet over medium fire. Use non-stick skillet because you can’t use any oil or fat. Add chicken and bacon bits. Then, cook chicken for 2 minutes on each side. Cover, and cook for 8 more minutes or until well done. Sprinkle cheese and cover skillet until cheese melts. Serve while hot. This is good for one person, and for less than 200 calories, perfect for lunch or dinner. Just make sure to go easy on bacon, as it is not exactly lean meat.
Can I have salad on the side?
Why not? You need cucumber, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, pepper, onion, salt, dried parsley, stevia.
To prepare, combine vinegar, spices and stevia. Toss cucumbers with vinegar mixture and chill for an hour. Serving is good for one, and it’s only about 55 calories.
How about dessert?
Baked apple with cola sounds good.
Here’s what you need: 1 small apple, ¼ teaspoon cinnamon, and ¼ cup diet cola.
To prepare: Wash and dry apple. Partially core the fruit and leave the bottom intact. Sprinkle the cinnamon inside the apple and pour diet cola up to the top. Cook in microwave for up to 3 minutes or until apple is almost tender. Then wait for 2 more minutes before taking it out.
For something this good, calorie count is less than 70.
